Couples can also select a traditional Khmer wedding with a monk’s blessing. The blessing of Buddhist monks for a wedding couple is a wonderful way to refresh a marriage or start it anew. Receive a memorable traditional Buddhist blessing early in the morning by offering the monks flowers, food and a traditional rice bowl. Buddhism is not a religion, but a philosophy whose openness allows monks to conduct wedding rituals for those who know little about it. The ceremony is held only in the mornings.
