Sir Robin Knox-Johnston went down in sailing history as the first person to successfully circumnavigate the globe on a sailing ship solo. Of the 9 participants, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston was the only one who reached the finish line – the exciting journey around the Earth on the Suhaili yacht took 312 days.
