The wellness immersion, hosted by Maria Sharapova, will take place from 21 to 24 February 2024 at Amanpuri, Aman’s flagship hotel located on a private peninsula on the west coast of Phuket in Thailand.
Immersion combines aspects of mindfulness, movement, nutrition and restorative practices. The tennis icon and Aman Wellness Ambassador will offer guests a wellness experience designed to support their commitment to achieving professional and personal goals.
Hosted personally by Maria Sharapova, using the experience and knowledge gained from decades of sports career, combined with signature Amanpuri practices, the event was designed to encourage guests of all fitness levels to gain the tools and holistic approach to achieving wellness.
The Immersion, which will be attended by a maximum of eight people, will include a one-on-one consultation with the hotel physician, daily meditation and breathing practices, sessions designed and led by Maria, restorative treatments including injections, hydrophobization treatments and signature Aman spa treatments. In addition, Maria will be your walking guide each morning before breakfast while warm-up sessions will be led by Dr. Jason Wersland, founder of Therabody, so guests can learn the long-term benefits of warm-up and recovery to maintain peak performance.
In addition to the fitness and social activities, guests will enjoy daily breakfasts tailored to accommodate upcoming events, as well as a beach barbecue dinner and an exclusive group farewell dinner. The entire menu was developed by Maria in collaboration with Aman’s Regional Chef for Asia, Matteo Nardin. It is designed to maintain high performance while making the most of local ingredients.
Let us remind you that the Amanpuri Hotel is 35 years old. On September 1, 2023 it reopened after a large-scale three-month renovation. The redevelopment in the pavilions of the legendary hotel has resulted in an atmosphere of privacy and unity with nature, with some rooms now having their own swimming pool. The Nama restaurant and the new private spa pavilion as well as Spa House were redesigned by a renowned architect Kengo Kuma.
