The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, an architectural masterpiece hovering over the crystal clear waters of one of the world’s most alluring oceans, is presenting a program to celebrate New Year and Christmas. The theme will be water – a powerful and magical element.

The celebrations will begin on December 22 with an unusual evening that will transform the EAU bar and its iconic pool into a stage for live theater.

As part of the Jean-Michel Cousteau Ambassadors of the Environment program, the resort’s marine naturalists will organize an amazing journey into the depths of the ocean, including such excursions as Cities Under the Sea and snorkeling with turtles. In addition, guests can go on a luxury sunset cruise or try traditional Maldivian dhoni fishing at dawn. For children, there is a separate educational program on exploring the microworld of ocean inhabitants.

Throughout the festive days, the island will host a series of gourmet champagne dinners from renowned brands Veuve Clicquot and Taittinger, as well as exclusive master classes where guests will be able to create, bake and decorate a traditional gingerbread house. Among other things, guests will be treated to an izakaya menu with sake, oriental tea ceremonies and bars with champagne and seafood.

The hotel will invite younger guests to a real fashion show. For teenagers, beach badminton, tennis tournaments and kayaking races are planned, as well as surfing lessons that will allow you to catch a wave in 2025. Daily festive master classes for children include decorating gingerbread houses and making Advent wreaths.

Festive events at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands will last until January 9, 2025.
