For over three decades, Aman has been synonymous with quiet and secluded places to escape from everyday life. Now guests will be able to relax on the high seas: Aman has announced the official name of its first luxury motor yacht – Amangati. Following the announcement of the Aman at Sea project in 2021, construction of the vessel began at the T. Mariotti S.p.A shipyard in Genoa, Italy. The launch is scheduled for 2027.

Amangati means “peaceful motion” in Sanskrit. The project is being developed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, and the name itself reflects the desire for harmony embodied in the elegant lines of the yacht, as well as the lightness and fluidity that guests will feel on board.

Amangati will change the perception of sea travel, becoming a floating hotel for those who want to enjoy the Aman philosophy on the high seas. The yacht will feature just 47 spacious suites, some of the largest on a 183m vessel, each with a private balcony.

Guests will enjoy a unique infrastructure:
– 4 restaurants with cuisine from different countries;
– a jazz club;
– a spacious Aman Spa with a Japanese garden;
– a beach club at the stern with direct access to the water.

The yacht is equipped with eco-friendly technologies, including batteries, which highlight Aman’s commitment to caring for the environment – both on land and at sea – and a desire to innovate.

The yacht will set sail for the Mediterranean in the summer of 2027. It will also be available for private charter, allowing guests to visit the most picturesque corners of the world in complete privacy.
