Beijing: A Journey to the Heart of Imperial China
30 October 2026
Beijing is the perfect starting point for exploring China: here, a five‑thousand‑year history coexists with modern architecture, world‑class gastronomy, and luxury hotels.
The best season is from April to May and from September to October. Spring is especially good for walks in the palace gardens, while autumn offers clear skies, comfortable temperatures, and golden hues. Summer is warm and more humid, and winter is cold but attractive for travellers who prefer a holiday without crowds of tourists.
What we recommend you to definitely see:
The Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square are symbols of Imperial Beijing.
• The Great Wall of China, especially its picturesque section of Mutianyu.
• Summer Palace with imperial gardens and Kunming Lake.
• The Temple of Heaven.
• Historical hutongs and the Qianmen district.
For discerning travelers, Beijing reveals itself through personalized excursions, visits to closed or little‑known historical sites, gastronomic dinners, and stays in hotels with a unique atmosphere.
