COMO Le Beauvallon: A Legend Returns to the Shores of Saint-Tropez
17 March 2026
In the spring of 2026, a new chapter in the history of the French Riviera opens on the Côte d’Azur. Le Beauvallon, a historic Belle Époque palace, will reopen its doors, now under the management of the iconic COMO Hotels and Resorts brand. The official opening ceremony is scheduled for April 24, 2026, but Á La Carte Premium has signed a contract with the hotel, and reservations are already available.
The hotel is located on 4 hectares of Mediterranean greenery in the commune of Grimaud, on the shores of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. A complimentary speedboat takes guests directly to the port of Saint-Tropez in just 8 minutes. Guests can also take a boat transfer for an additional fee to the famous Pampelonne Beach. As Tatyana Artemyeva, Head of France, shared with us, “This is the ideal location for those who want to be at the epicenter of Saint-Tropez’s glamorous life, but return to absolute peace, tranquility, and privacy.”
The hotel has just 42 rooms and suites, a format that guarantees a personalized approach and the atmosphere of a private club. The flagship residence, the COMO Suite, occupies approximately 200 square meters and offers panoramic views of the bay. All suites face the sea, while the Hill View rooms overlook the hills of Provence with their cypress trees and lavender fields. A key detail: each floor is equipped with 24-hour pantries—a kind of buffet with snacks and drinks—a touch that transforms your stay into a personalized experience.
The resort’s culinary concept is overseen by Yannick Alléno, who holds a total of 17 Michelin stars. The beach restaurant Beauvallon Sur Mer by Yannick Alléno literally floats above the water, offering stunning views of Saint-Tropez. Its menu offers a masterful blend of Provençal terroir and Mediterranean coastal tradition. The main building features a winter garden, an outdoor terrace, and a lobby bar serving signature cocktails.
The hotel boasts over 300 art installations. The crown jewel of the collection is the 2002 Serpentine Gallery Summer Pavilion, designed by Pritzker Prize winner Toyo Ito and relocated from London. This architectural pavilion is available for private events and is sure to become the most poetic venue on the Côte d’Azur.
The COMO Shambhala wellness center offers the hotel’s signature holistic approach, including treatment rooms, a yoga studio, and a gym. A 25-meter heated pool overlooking the bay and access to a public beach, as well as a private pontoon for yachts, complete the image of an impeccable Mediterranean boutique hotel.
The hotel successfully completed the 2025 summer season in test mode and will be fully operational in April 2026. Reservations are now open; please contact the Á La Carte Premium specialists for details on rates and availability.
