COMO Le Montrachet: 28 Keys to Burgundy
17 March 2026
Burgundy greets you with silence. Here, on the central square of Puligny-Montrachet, surrounded by the vineyards of the same name, stands COMO Le Montrachet, a five-star hotel housed in a historic 19th-century building—a new addition to the Á La Carte Premium portfolio. Since the beginning of the year, Le Montrachet has reopened to travelers seeking an introduction to the culture of French wine and gastronomy.
This place tolerates no fuss. There is no high season in the traditional sense—instead, there is a succession of harvest, winter dormancy, spring awakening, and long golden evenings when the wine in the glass reveals itself in a way unlike anywhere else.
The hotel is located 10 steps from the renowned Le Montrachet vineyards. Historic Beaune is a 20-minute drive away, and a free shuttle service is available to guests on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Paris is just over two hours away, including transfers: take the TGV from Gare de Lyon to Le Creusot station in 1 hour 23 minutes, followed by a 40-minute taxi ride. From Lyon, the journey by car takes 1.5 hours.
A total of 28 rooms and suites are spread across three buildings – the main building, La Résidence, and Villa Christine. The interiors feature a subdued blue-green-gray palette, natural materials, and a pristine décor. Windows offer views of the village’s tiled rooftops or the tranquil courtyard.
Chef Romain Versinot helms Le Montrachet. His cuisine is seasonal, French, and uncompromising in its use of local produce. His signature dish, pigeon in a grain crust, has already become legendary among his first guests.
But the hotel’s true pride is its wine list. It is a carefully curated encyclopedia of Burgundy crus, featuring both leading houses and independent winemakers whose names are known only to the initiated.
The hotel specializes in wine travel. Guests can enjoy private tours and tastings in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits vineyards, as well as Burgundy cooking masterclasses led by a local chef. All programs are available in Russian and English upon request.
Guests have access to a seasonal outdoor pool, free parking and charging stations for electric vehicles, and electric bike rental (from March to October). For exercise, guests have access to a fitness center in Beaune (a 15-minute drive).
As a reminder, the hotel is open year-round, with the exception of a short period from late November to early January, and each season offers its own unique flavor. For details on rates and availability, please contact the Á La Carte Premium specialists.
