Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental: Still Luxurious 20 Years Later
19 February 2025
20 years later, Emirates Palace, with its opulent Arabian architecture, still resembles a real palace: the building’s façade is decorated with stained glass windows and statues, while the interior features marble floors and walls, expensive textiles, designer furniture and more than a thousand Swarovski chandeliers.
However, since 2023, when the hotel came under the management of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, the gold has diminished and modern comfort has increased. Moreover, for the first time, the resort welcomes guests in “vegan rooms” with plant-based toiletries and eco-friendly bed linen.
The restaurants include the Michelin-starred Talea by Antonio Guida with a terrace, while Episodes offers a tea house, a deli, a patisserie and an ice cream parlour. The Hideaway, The Spa offers Tata Harper and Oto product lines, as well as Acqua di Parma Barbiere.
For bookings made before February 28, 2025, significant discounts of up to 25% apply for the year in advance.
