Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni, Lake Como: Meet the Churchill Suite
25 March 2025
On the eve of the summer season, we are starting a review of the unique suites located at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, on Lake Como, Italy.
The luxurious Villa Serbelloni Hotel was built on the shores of Lake Como in 1872, and almost immediately it became a hotspot for the Italian aristocracy. In the first half of the 20th century, the names of Franklin Roosevelt, Winston Churchill and John F. Kennedy joined the list of guests, after whom historical suites are now named.
The Churchill Suite, named after Winston Churchill, a man who embodies fortitude and determination, reflects the essence of indomitable spirit and refined taste. The Churchill Suite is illuminated by Murano glass chandeliers and has a unique atmosphere. It welcomes guests with the breathtaking beauty of frescoes and presents a real treasure trove of antique furniture. Every detail here is chosen in such a way as to embody elegance and grandeur reminiscent of the Churchill era. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a separate living room, a space designed for meetings. The suite is complemented by two luxurious bathrooms.
The hotel itself positions the Churchill Suite as something more than just a place to stay. It is an invitation to explore the legacy of one of the most significant figures in history.
The doors of the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni will be open for the first guests of the upcoming season from March 21.
