La Réserve Ramatuelle – Hotel, Spa & Villas: let’s get to know each other
4 June 2025
La Réserve Ramatuelle – Hotel, Spa & Villas, located above one of the most beautiful bays of the Mediterranean, on high hills surrounded by lush vegetation and just a few minutes drive from the legendary Saint Tropez, recreates the atmosphere of the French Riviera of the 1950s.
This secluded place away from the hustle and bustle offers accommodation:
• In one of the 19 suites and 8 rooms with stunning sea views.
• In one of the 14 villas with 3-7 bedrooms, private garden and swimming pool, and most importantly, with five–star hotel service.
In addition, guests can enjoy gastronomic delights from Eric Canino, chef of La Voile restaurant with two Michelin stars, wellness programs and a variety of facial and body treatments at Spa Nescens, a fitness room, as well as indoor and outdoor pools.
For the spring-summer 2024 season, the interior design of La Réserve Ramatuelle – Hotel, Spa & Villas has been updated in accordance with a new concept conceived by owner Michel Rebier, which creates associations with the modernist style of the 50s of the last century and harmoniously fits into the nature of the Mediterranean. The purpose of the idea of the founder of Michel Reybier Hospitality was the desire to pay tribute to the spirit of art chic that prevailed in those years on the French Riviera, where creative people from different countries aspired. The spaces were transformed by French decorator Jacques Garcia, inspired by the golden age of decorative art of the French Riviera and the masterpieces of Jean Cocteau, Pablo Picasso, Roger Capron and other masters.
“For the first time in my work, I turned to the 30s and 60s. I’ve long had a passion for Dolce Vita and Italian films of that era, and that’s what always inspired me. And I saw that La Réserve Ramatuelle was perfect for expressing the style of that era. The new interpretation of this style contains comfort, modernity, color, cheerfulness and at the same time an invariably charming view of the sea,” admits Jacques Garcia.
The introduction to the hotel begins in a luxurious lobby with panoramic sea views, with an interior in which contrasting materials and abstract textures set the tone: ivory ceramics, light wood furniture with clean Scandinavian lines, colorful works of art. Air curtains made of cotton and linen complete this poetic ensemble.
In bars and restaurants, in addition to the delicate palette of white and beige, there are deep blues and dark greens in the form of stripes or floral prints on sofas. Ceramic jugs and plates from Jean Lurse’s iconic collection adorn the halls, the latter can be seen on the walls of La Voile restaurant. And wooden elements literally envelop the ivory lava stone bar. The wall next to the stairs leading to the library is completely decorated with frescoes of blue and green ceramic tiles. The same noble materials were used to decorate the rooms and suites: ceramics, terracotta, enameled lava stone in the bathrooms, light-colored wood, braided ropes.
“La Réserve Ramatuelle has an exceptional geographical location, unobstructed panoramic sea views. This is a place of elegance, which, in my opinion, stems from the freedom of space,” says Jacques Garcia. La Réserve Ramatuelle – Hotel, Spa & Villas thus continue the wonderful traditions of French decorative art: Michel Rebier and Jacques Garcia combined vintage pieces with works by talented contemporary artists in their collection.
The acquaintance should be continued.
