In the heart of the Château Smith Haut Lafitte vineyards, Les Sources de Caudalie is born – the only palace hotel in the Bordeaux region, offering a range of wine therapy treatments in a rustic chic setting, with the main highlight being a thermal pool filled with water from a natural spring.

“The spa complex is equipped with numerous treatment rooms, a hammam, a pool with a jacuzzi and relaxation rooms. Like the rest of the hotel, it was mainly built from natural and sometimes recycled materials. The contrast between the typical rustic materials (old beams, antique tiles, stone) and the luxurious atmosphere of this place dedicated entirely to relaxation is striking. But the most interesting thing is that a natural spring, located 540 m below the estate, fills the natural relaxation pool. It is difficult to imagine a more pleasant place! What nature does not provide is offered by Caudalie, a cosmetics brand with a wide range of products based on grape extracts.

True to the promise of its name, “Caudalie Source” builds its care programs, rituals and treatments around wine therapy (the signature treatment is the anti-aging facial Resveratrol-Lift, a 50-minute union with grape seed oil that tightens the skin and gives it radiance).

In addition to spa treatments, you can restore your body and spirit with other activities. Yoga, walks through the vineyards or the “Forest Bath” – Bain de Forêt – immersion in the atmosphere of the forest, a session conducted jointly by an arborist (tree specialist) and an artist-musician. The activity can be continued with a walk along the “Land Art” trail in the “Forest of the Senses”, decorated with numerous works of art existing in unity with nature. Breathtaking!”
