Maison Boissière BARNES Residences: history, privacy and impeccable service
18 July 2025
Maison Boissière BARNES Residences opened in June 2024 in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, a few steps from the Trocadero. It is the first aparthotel from BARNES, which launched the new BARNES Hospitality line.
The complex combines two buildings from the Haussmann era, including a mansion that previously belonged to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Hervé de Charette. The renovation took 2.5 years.
Inspiration was drawn from the atmosphere of the late 19th century, when the Trocadero area was a village on the hill of Chaillot, and the Rue Boissière was called Cœur-Volant. While preserving the historical elements, the interiors were created in the spirit of Art Deco with fabrics by Pierre Frey and a collection of vintage objects.
The hotel has 16 apartments, including four exclusive suites with terraces. The spaces are adapted for short, medium and long-term stays: they combine the comfort of a private home with the service of a five-star hotel. The interiors reflect Parisian chic: an abundance of light, designer art objects, cozy relaxation areas and a quiet garden hidden from the bustle of the city. Four signature apartments named after great writers, each with a unique design:
• Sacha Guitry Apartment (95 m², terrace, frescoes)
• Jules Verne Apartment (110 m², view of the Eiffel Tower)
• Ernest Hemingway Apartment (125 m², orangery, wine cellar)
• Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Apartment (110 m², 2 bedrooms)
Services:
• 24/7 concierge
• Transfers, car rental, chef
• Spa services in the apartment
• Breakfasts with local products
• “Capsule wardrobe” (Trunk) for storing things between visits
Prices from 690 euros per night in a standard room. Signature apartments – from 1200 euros.
