Hotel de Russie, Rome: opening of Aquazzura Bar
Aquazzura Bar, a unique space created by the legendary Roman hotel in collaboration with the Italian fashion brand Aquazzura, opened in the walls of the Hotel de Russie on April 10, 2025.
Aquazzura Bar is located in the blooming garden of the hotel. Its interior is inspired by the Aquazzura Casa Secret Garden tableware collection and is decorated with tiles with lemon motifs and contrasting awnings in black and white stripes in the Aquazzura style.
The main focus of the menu is on cocktails based on tequila. These include frozen Margaritas made from seasonal fruits and Agave Nero – Osorio, an interpretation of Espresso martinis. Tapas from Chef Fulvio Pierangellini are also worth a try.
Verdura Resort, Sicily: three new restaurants and a bar
The Verdura resort in Sicily has undergone major upgrades. Scirocco cocktail bar and three new restaurants have opened:
• L’Osteria with a carefully selected wine collection and a menu of traditional Italian dishes.
• Zagara with exquisite Italian cuisine, the result of the creative collaboration of Fulvio Pierangellini and Emanuele Riccobono.
• Buongiorno with breakfast and sea view.
Another interesting addition is the Piazza, a square that has become a vibrant place with new shops and a Nagori restaurant combining Japanese and Sicilian cuisine. And the guests’ favorite trattoria Liolà has opened this season in a completely new design.
Hotel Savoy, Florence: the new trattoria by Fulvio Pierangellini
The main restaurant of the hotel, Irene, has been opened in the Savoy Hotel after the renovation. Named after Lady Forte, it is a love message to Tuscany. The cordiality and hospitality of the region served as inspiration for the creation of a new elegant trattoria.
The menu of brand chef Fulvio Pierangellini is an exquisite version of authentic Tuscan cuisine: spaghetti with tomatoes and basil, stuffed veal fillet in Florentine style, handmade ravioli with black truffle and much more.
