Switzerland: The Dolder Grand – 4 Nights for the Price of 3 and New Seasonal Openings
21 July 2026
The legendary Zurich hotel The Dolder Grand, consistently ranked among Europe’s top city resorts, is announcing two complementary offers for the 2026 summer season. The first is a premium rate for extended stays, while the second features three unique culinary concepts, each expanding the concept of modern luxury.
Extended Luxury 4 for 3 Offer: The Rational Arithmetic of Luxury Vacations
As part of a special promotion, book four consecutive nights and only pay for the third night – the fourth night is free. This package includes unlimited access to the Dolder Grand Spa (4,000 square meters of water areas, saunas, and terraces), a 24-hour shuttle to the historic city center, and the use of BMW Guest Cars, subject to availability. The base price starts at CHF 2,220 for a four-night stay in a Double Room Superior. This offer is time-limited and subject to confirmed availability at the time of request.
A Seasonal Palette of Flavors: Three New Gastronomic Universes
The Dolder Grand is opening a culinary triptych, each section of which, in our opinion, deserves its own unique attention.
MIYU is a pop-up restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, open from June 5 to August 2, 2026. Chef Atsushi Hiraoka, with 17 Gault & Millau points and over 30 years of experience, is at the helm. His signature philosophy blends the canons of Japanese culinary tradition with contemporary European accents. The menu is complemented by a carefully curated list of sake and Japanese whiskey – the space is designed for connoisseurs of subtle flavor contrasts.
Blooms is an open-air restaurant, open from May 21st until the end of September 2026 (weather permitting). Chef Heiko Nieder (16 Gault & Millau points) creates light vegetarian and vegan dishes using ingredients harvested in the hotel’s private garden. The garden seats 36 people; the intimate atmosphere invites daytime and evening dining against the backdrop of the Alpine countryside.
Krug Lounge is a revival of the iconic pop-up project by Maison KRUG on the terrace with panoramic views of Lake Zurich. Open from April until the end of September 2026, Heiko Nieder offers his signature interpretations of dishes, from signature currywurst to truffle fries. A playful element: the famous “Press for Champagne” button instantly delivers a glass of fine champagne, turning every visit into a ritual of exquisite pleasure.
