Tanzania: Where the Wild Savannah Meets the Boundless Ocean
17 August 2026
Today, we’ll introduce you to a destination that fulfills several popular “African” needs: from safari adventures to beach relaxation. We can confidently say: Tanzania is a universe of experiences. Here, you can start your day by watching lions in the endless savannah and end it with a sunset over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.
We’ve broken down the destination’s features and prepared a ready-made sales tool for you.
Dream Safari: An Encounter with Wild Africa
Tanzania’s greatest pride is its legendary national parks. Here are the key points on the map:
• Serengeti – the heart of African safari. It is here that the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras takes place – one of the most spectacular spectacles on the planet. From July to October, the Serengeti is home to dramatic river crossings, as thousands of animals navigate the turbulent waters, and predators seize the opportunity.
• The Ngorongoro Crater is a natural amphitheater and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over 25,000 large mammals roam the area, including all of the “Big Five” – lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinoceroses. The views from the crater rim are unforgettable.
• Tarangire National Park is renowned for its majestic baobab trees and vast herds of elephants. Lake Manyara boasts a multitude of birds and the famous lions resting in the trees.
Safari options range from private tours in a Land Cruiser with a personal guide to air safaris, where travelers travel between parks by plane, saving precious time.
Zanzibar: Azure, Colorful, and Spicy
After days filled with wildlife, it’s time for a relaxing getaway. Zanzibar is known as the African Maldives.
• Northern Coast (Nungwi and Kendwa Beaches): wide sandy stretches, minimal tides, and swimming at almost any time. Many top five-star hotels are located here.
• Eastern Coast (Paje and Jambiani Beaches): for lovers of a more relaxed atmosphere and kitesurfing.
We recommend visiting Stone Town, the historic center of Zanzibar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A labyrinth of narrow streets, Arabic mansions with carved doors, mosques, and colonial buildings transport you back to the days when Stone Town was a trading port for East Africa.
Activities: snorkeling, diving, traditional boat rides, swimming with dolphins, excursions to spice plantations (cloves, vanilla, nutmeg).
Kilimanjaro: Conquering the “Roof of Africa”
For clients seeking a true challenge, we recommend climbing Africa’s highest peak (5,895 m above sea level). The climb requires no special technical training but offers breathtaking views. We offer several routes of varying difficulty and duration.
Culture and Traditions
No trip would be complete or truly diverse without immersing yourself in the culture and traditions of the host country.
In Tanzania, this includes:
• Maasai and Hadza villages – an introduction to the customs of the indigenous peoples;
• Olduvai Gorge – one of the most important paleontological finds, a site preserving traces of ancient human ancestors;
• Dar es Salaam – oceanfront promenades, restaurants, cafes, and shops selling local handicrafts.
Ideal itinerary and best time to visit
• Option 1 (7-10 days): 4-6 days safari + 3-4 days in Zanzibar.
• Option 2 (10-14 days): 5-7 days safari + 4-7 days in Zanzibar.
Best time: dry season – June to October, as well as January to February. Perfect for both safari and beach relaxation.
What documents are needed
Russians require a visa (single-entry tourist visa, up to 90 days, US$50). This can be obtained online via e-Visa or upon arrival.
You will need:
• passport (valid for at least 6 months);
