We are opening a new section, the A La Carte Collection, dedicated to the travel collection created for true connoisseurs of Italy, France and other destinations by the A La Carte Premium company. We start with the Emilia-Romagna region, where taste, style and history are intertwined in every moment.
Emilia-Romagna is the heart of gastronomic Italy, the birthplace of legendary tastes, great masters and the genuine art of enjoying life. Legendary cheeses and prosciutto are born here, balsamic vinegar is aged, and traditional pasta turns into a real masterpiece.
The region lives in the style of dolce vita: cozy cafes, evening walks through historical squares, the aromas of fresh produce in the markets and the cordiality of local craftsmen make every day a celebration.
For those who appreciate speed and engineering genius, Emilia Romagna opens up the world of motor legends – Ferraris, Maseratis and other iconic cars are created here, the roar of the engines and the dynamism of which impress no less than the local tastes. Emilia-Romagna is Italy, which you want to feel with all your senses.
We bring to your attention the program of an exclusive five–day trip, which includes tastings at wineries with a centuries-old history, dinners at the best restaurants in the region and immersion in the atmosphere of the same dolce vita – sweet life.
Duration: 5 days / 4 nights.
Day 1 – Bologna: Emilia’s Gate
• Arrival in Bologna, VIP meeting at the airport.
• Guided tour of the old town: Piazza Maggiore, Asinelli Tower, medieval arcades, University of Bologna – the oldest in Western Europe.
• Dinner at the I Portici restaurant (one Michelin star) – tasting of classic Bolognese cuisine: tagliatelle al ragu, tortellini in broth, mortadella DOP.
Day 2 – Valley of Motors and Modena
• Morning: excursion to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Ferrari test drive on the track (accompanied by an instructor).
• VIP visit to Acetaia privata– a private balsamic vinegar factory that is more than 100 years old. Tasting with the chef.
• Lunch at Osteria Francescana (three Michelin stars, chef Massimo Bottura), one of the best restaurants in the world.
• A walk through Modena: Ghirlandina Tower, Piazza Grande and the Cathedral are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Day 3 – Parmigiano and Parma
• Visit to Caseificio– a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese factory with a private tasting of cheeses of various ages.
• Transfer to Parma, walk through the city center: cathedral, Baptistery, Farnese Theater.
• Visit the salumeria of the Prosciutto di Parma Consortium with an overview of the production stages – from salting to aging. Guided tour of the workshops and storages, tasting of 24-month-old prosciutto with bread, grissini and Lambrusco and Malvasia wines.
• A trip to a country estate where Culatello di Zibello DOP is made according to traditional recipes.
Day 4 – Romantic Romagna
• Morning: transfer to Ravenna, tour of the mosaics of early Christian basilicas (UNESCO list).
Lunch at a seaside restaurant in Cervia with seafood from the Adriatic.
• Afternoon visit to the winery in the Romagna hills: tasting of Sangiovese and albana in a private room.
Day 5 – La Dolce Vita Lifestyle
• Morning at the hotel’s spa with wine treatments.
• Walk through the charming villages of Romagna, shopping in boutiques with local delicacies.
• Transfer to Bologna Airport and departure.
Placement according to the program:
• Borgo Condé Wine-Resort is a wine resort, a 110–hectare estate with vineyards and olive groves. Fine wines and oils are created here, and a panoramic spa with wine therapy, fresh breezes and scents of lavender and rosemary help to complement the relaxation.
Palazzo di Varignana is an estate surrounded by the picturesque hills of Emilia Romagna, half an hour’s drive from Bologna. Old farmhouses have been transformed into luxury villas with gardens and private pools. The hotel has a Varsana spa, olive oil and wine tastings, and an interesting gastronomic offer from restaurants.
