Travel from Paris to Venice, April 25-28, 2026 (4 days, 3 nights)
Departing on board the famous Belmond Venice Simplon-Orient-Express from Paris to Serenissima (ital. “Serene One” – that was the name of the Republic of Venice until the 18th century), you will immediately plunge into the atmosphere of modern comfort and Venetian glamour.
At nightfall, the elegant guests will proceed to the dining car for a gastronomic dinner. During the dinner, dishes with seasonal ingredients, fine wines and non-alcoholic cocktails will be served. We recommend finishing the evening at bar 3674. Live piano music and specialty drinks in fashionable interiors create an aura of aristocracy and unsurpassed chic.
The next morning will start with breakfast right in the compartment. Imagine a train slowly gliding through picturesque valleys and mountain ranges. The majestic Alps become a colorful backdrop for the early hours of the day. As you approach Venice, you can enjoy charming views of the lagoon from the windows – an anticipation of meeting the city on the water.
Lunch is waiting for you in the dining car on the way. Upon arrival of the train at Santa Lucia Station, you will be provided with a private boat transfer. It will take you through the romantic canals of Venice to the magnificent Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel, where you will stay for the next 2 nights.
Cipriani Hotel is located on Giudecca Island with panoramic views of the Venetian Lagoon and the silhouettes of historic Venice. For many decades, it has been considered a symbol of Italian hospitality and impeccable service.
You will spend the rest of the day at your own pace: relax by the famous Olympic swimming pool, stroll through the quiet gardens of Casanova or devote time to complete relaxation in the modern spa. Here, every moment is imbued with the spirit of tranquility, beauty and the same dolce vita.
Please note: dinner on this day is not included in the price.
The next day starts with a sumptuous breakfast overlooking the lagoon. Afterwards, guests are invited to discover Venice’s artisanal heritage. You will visit the Orsoni Fornace workshop, the last glass mosaic studio in the city, usually inaccessible to the public. Here you will see an inimitable “library of colors” with more than 3,500 shades of smalt and follow how craftsmen manually create gold tesserae in accordance with a centuries-old tradition.
Alternatively, you can stay at the hotel and visit the Gabbiano bar, where you will receive a master class on making the popular Bellini cocktail, a specialty drink of Venice.
In the evening, you will have dinner at the Michelin-starred ORO restaurant. Chef Massimo Bottura and head chef Vania Ghedini offer an interpretation of Venetian flavors on the lagoon shore. The perfect end to your stay in Venice.
