Our Italy experts can help you organize a unique art tour with a suite at Casa Baglioni Milan.
This hotel from the Baglioni Hotels & Resorts collection in Milan welcomed its first guests only last year. Casa Baglioni is located in the artistic heart of Milan, the Brera district; it occupies an Art Nouveau building dating back to 1913.
The hotel has only 30 rooms and suites, where functionality meets signature elegance. Inspired by Milanese design of the 1960s, the suites feature herringbone wooden floors, brass lamps and other furnishings, as well as textiles and rugs with avant-garde geometric patterns as decoration.
The signature Montenapoleone Suite is 108 sq. m. has a breathtaking view of the central streets of Via dell’Annunziata and Via Fatebenefratelli. The Brera Presidential Suite, measuring 113 sq. m., is located on the 5th floor, it has a private terrace and can accommodate up to five guests at a time.
The tour begins with a visit to the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, one of the oldest Italian academies where many famous artists, sculptors, designers and architects studied.
The route then leads to the Museo del Novecento, one of the most famous museums of modern art in the world. At the entrance, a spiral staircase begins, which connects all levels of the museum. As you climb it, you can follow the development of art in the 20th century. Guests can stop in the ancient cafeteria to enjoy a glass of red wine, and then admire the courtyard of Piero Manzoni’s residence. In addition, they will be able to meet contemporary artists whose studios are located right in Brera.
