Le Kaila is located in the center of the Méribel ski resort, at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level. The drive from Geneva and Lyon international airports takes approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes. The hotel’s key advantage is its ski-in/ski-out status. The slopes of the 3 Valleys region can be accessed from the ski boutique via a private elevator.
Le Kaila is part of a family-run group of two hotels and has been awarded one Michelin Guide key. The property is a complex of chalets with facades adorned with intricate wood carvings. Most rooms feature warm beige and brown color schemes, and soft carpets and plush throws enhance the cozy atmosphere. Some rooms feature jacuzzis and hammam-equipped showers. Some rooms can be combined to form an entire chalet. Toiletries are provided by the French brand Nuxe.
The hotel’s culinary highlight is the Michelin-starred restaurant L’Ekrin, led by chef Laurent Azoulay. The more informal brasserie Le 80 hosts live music evenings several times a week. A separate cigar room is available for connoisseurs. The spa features Nuxe products, offering guests relaxing and rejuvenating treatments. The kids’ club offers programs for children of all ages, including specially designed activities for teenagers.
