Italy: Events Calendar
20 May 2026
Summer and autumn 2026 offer us a rare opportunity – not just to show our clients Italy, but to give them a ticket to the very heart of its passion, beauty, and grandeur. As part of our regular column, we’ve compiled five unforgettable events for you. Read this list, and you would want to drop everything to be there. Give your clients the right to say, “I was there when it happened.” And we’ll ensure that every trip brings you not only profit but also pride in your work.
Arena di Verona Opera Festival
From June 12 to September 12, 2026 – 2,000 years of history, 22,000 spectators, and not a single indifferent guest. An evening in the still-warm marble of the Roman amphitheater, true stars overhead, and “Aida” on stage. The audience will cry when “Va, pensiero” sounds, and give a standing ovation. Please note: the best seats (closest to the orchestra and with a view of the entire arena) are sold out 3-4 months in advance. Demand is colossal – don’t miss out!
Palio di Siena
July 2nd and August 16th, 2026 – two days of horse racing, but the adrenaline rush will last a lifetime. Piazza del Campo in Siena transforms into a bustling arena, the flags of the contrade flutter, and the drums beat to the beat of your heart. The wild, primal joy of 10,000 spectators – that’s what the Palio is all about. Many are willing to pay a pretty penny for a seat in the stands – don’t miss out, we have them. A customer who has experienced the Palio will be yours forever.
Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto
From June 26th to July 12th, 2026 – a festival of two worlds, combining music, dance, and theater. The cozy streets of the ancient city are transformed into a stage. Everything—down to the last molecule of air—is steeped in art. An ideal option for a sophisticated audience. Recommended for those who read books in the original and enjoy spending money on entertainment.
Venice Film Festival
From September 2nd to 12th, 2026, stars will be shining not only in the sky, but also on the streets and canals of Venice. Red carpets, premieres, and an atmosphere of glamour. Everything will make you feel part of the global film community. Who knows, maybe your clients will have personal photos with Selena Gomez or Tilda Swinton after this event.
Sting Concert at Villa d’Este
August 9th, 2026—fountains, cypresses, a Renaissance villa, and Sting’s voice in the open air. No stadiums for thousands of people—only a select few. An exclusive event for one evening only. Tickets are limited—hurry. And don’t forget to add dinner at a restaurant overlooking the valley.
All of this is just the tip of the iceberg. We’re ready to take care of all your travel arrangements: transfers, tickets to the best sectors, licensed guides, and, of course, hotels within walking distance of these significant events.
