Soneva, the iconic world-class premium brand, introduces the new state-of-the-art Soneva Secret Hotel. Located on Haa Dhaalu, the most remote Maldivian atoll. The absence of inhabited islands near the resort ensures maximum privacy.

The resort will welcome its first guests in March 2024. There are a total of 14 one- and two-bedroom beach and water villas, including Crusoe Villas, located on the lagoon and accessible only by boat, and Castaway, the Maldives’ first luxury floating villa.

Each villa is designed in perfect harmony with the stunning scenery and has direct access to the white sand beach or the sparkling turquoise lagoon. In addition to the master bedroom with a retractable roof that allows you to admire the stars while lying in bed, the villa has interconnecting bedrooms, ensuring spacious accommodation for a large family and additional guests. All villas also feature freshwater swimming pools and Soneva Soul spa treatment rooms.

Each villa offers a butler with an assistant (Barefoot Guardian and Barefoot Assistant). There are 14 chefs on the island representing different cuisines of the world – you can organize a meal both in the villa and outdoors in the most picturesque places of the island.

For lunch, you can go to Out of This World, where there is a panoramic restaurant, an observatory and a wine cellar in the lagoon, and you can get there in an unusual way – on an overwater zipline. So Primitive is a great place to dine on the beach and enjoy food cooked over an open fire. The Living Room is the heart of the island, where you can relax and dine in a relaxed atmosphere. There is also a library, a boutique and the famous ice cream, chocolate, cheese and deli meat rooms.

Soneva Secret will create individual scenarios for guests to spend their time. Particular attention is paid to experiences that allow you to feel harmony with the incredibly beautiful nature of the island. The underwater world amazes with its diversity – the crystal clear waters are home to majestic manta rays, curious dolphins and completely safe whale sharks, as well as tropical fish of all colors. Family leisure is not limited to a busy schedule at The Den children’s club, it also organizes Robinson Crusoe-themed picnics, sunset cruises with dolphins, snorkeling under the guidance of experienced marine biologists, and studying the starry sky with a perfect view of the Milky Way under the guidance of an astronomer.

Like all Soneva resorts, Soneva Secret has an Eco Centro Waste-to-Wealth facility that ensures waste is recycled. All villas are designed with sustainability in mind, using FSC certified wood. The island has energy-saving systems with heat recovery (95% of the energy will be renewable), and recycled materials are used whenever possible. Soneva Secret is a carbon neutral resort.

How to get to the secret place? By seaplane 75 minutes from Velana International Airport, 40 minutes from Soneva Fushi in Baa Atoll and 30 minutes from Soneva Jani in Noonu Atoll. Alternatively, take a leisurely day cruise from Soneva Fushi on the Soneva in Aqua yacht. Finally, guests can fly into the local Kulhuduffushi Airport in Haa Dhaalu Atoll for a 60-minute speedboat transfer.
